Every Sculptura series speaker is equipped with the Sinclair Audio Polymer Integrated Soft Dome Tweeter. These tweeters feature strong magnets, ferrofluid and thermal protection to handle high power and maintain wonderful high frequency clarity. This tweeter sits in a faceplate that has been shaped and contoured to spread high frequencies horizontally throughout the listening area to guarantee great sound from anywhere in the room.
To meet the bass demands of today’s music and home theater effects, these speakers feature Injection Molded Polypropylene Cones. Injection molding the drivers produces excellent waveform properties and tight tolerances to ensure every Sculptura driver meets Sinclair’s performance standards. Cones are graphite, carbon and mica injected to create a very strong yet light driver material. Reinforcement bars that run the depth of the cone help to keep the cone rigid, thus maintaining its shape during challenging passages and eliminating the distortion caused by the cone flexing.
